About Nate Valentino
About Nate Valentino:
Nate Valentino (born Nathanael Pullen) was born in the southwest of England, UK. He had a fairly happy up-bringing and got a lot of life expriences from moving around alot. It was when he was aged 14 (in 2004) that he first got interested in the world of DJing and that he done his very first ever gig. He was asked to open up with a few tracks for DJ H2o in Torquay, England. The first track that he played was on Technics 1210's and was 'Where is the love?' by 'Black Eyed Peas'. It was after this gig that he came up with the name 'DJ Nate 24/7' and he later in the year put together some "mash-ups", some feauturing the talents of Jay Z, The Verve, Kylie Minogue, The Black Eyed Peas, Coldplay, Dizzee Rascal and later, Achmed The Dead Terrorist, to name a few.
It was from the year 2007 that the name 'Nate Valentino' first started appearing over the internet, and over the years, more and more websites have started writing about him and featuring his content on their sites. However, although he has got a fair sized group of fans, he is still fairly unknown and underground.
In 2007 he then made a small apperence at Creationfest in Devon, England. This time he was on stage with such rap artists as Jahaziel, S.O and the R&B singer, Ryan Carty doing 4 bars about poverty. Which later was put into his first underground rap called 'Poverty Proclamation'. After this he came up with the name 'Dj Valentino' and released a track under this name called 'Suck my D**k'. This was the only song that he released under the name 'Dj Valentino' as he soon changed it to his current stage name, 'Nate Valentino'. With this name he put together a myspace profile (www.myspace.com/natevalentino) and added a few of his remixes.
2008 saw the release of his first original track called 'Calling For Your Love' which got played on several radio stations and in several clubs world wide, one being L.A.X. in Las Vegas. It so happened that a few celebrities were at the club at the time and took a liking to the track, which then took to the 'NV Hollywood Fan Club' being set up. It is Beverley Hills that holds Nate Valentino's second most large group of fans, (Los Angeles holds first place).
January 2009 saw the 'Temporary Retirement' of Nate Valentino as he became unwell due to exhaustion and depression. He is now taking the whole of 2009 off working as a DJ to recover. However, there are rumors that he has a gig planned for 2010 in Tokyo, Japan. This is depending on how many fans he gets and if the costs can be covered for his travel and hotel expenses.
Nate Valentino writes songs and poems and (from time to time) performs Christian and Non-Christian music that appeals to secular listeners. He has a heart for poverty and comes from a Christian home but has a history of crime, drugs and violence. A lot of Nate's songs are only written and not yet performed as Nate rarely performs as a Singer/MC on stage. Nate Valentino writes songs about equality, poverty, religion and freedom.
