Naruto Shippuuden is an Anime & Manga series by one Masashi Kishimoto. The main character of the Anime series is Naruto Uzumaki. Naruto is a loud adolescent who is hyperactive ninja who is constantly searching for recognition and approval. He is also seeking to be Hokage who is recognized as the strongest and the leader of ninja in their village. The Manga started of by being published on Shonen Jump magazine in Japan by Shueisha.  

When it was at volume 36, the manga had made a sale of more than 70 million copies.  VIZ media then started publishing the translated version that in the American version of Shonen Jump. Naruto has recorded the highest sales in the VIZ media’s Manga series. The  initial two  series  that were produced  by Aniplex  and Studio  Pierrot  premiered  in Japan  on terrestrial  Television  Tokyo network and also on  anime  satellite  TV network  in October 2002. It is still being aired.  

Naruto debuted in the United States in 2005 on Cartoon network. It is also aired in Canada, United Kingdom and also in Australia. The first series went on for nine seasons till Naruto shippuden started airing. The plot is based on historical events after the appearance of a demon that had nine tails. When it swung its tail, it would bring down a mountain and also ignite a tsunami.

 In order to counter the demon, people gathered the ninjas to face it. One of the ninjas sealed this monster in a deadly battle. The ninja was known as Fourth Hokage and when he died, he preserved all powers of the demon in a young boy’s body.  There is a decree that is made by the Third Hokage who replaced Fourth Hokage after he died.

The decree forbids any person from mentioning the demon attack to any other person. The young boy was called Uzumaki Naruto. Although  his  plan is to become Hokage,  most of the people in  his village  do not like  him  and  they consider  him to be  a pest. In order to get the attention of the people, Naruto causes chaos but people just ignore him as they assume that he is a real demon fox.  
Naruto fails the Genin examination and is tricked to steal the scroll in order to be a Genin.  He gets into severe danger but is saved by his teacher, Iruka. It later turns that Naruto is the one who saves Iruka from death. This makes him to be officially promoted to a ninja and the journey to be a Hokage begins.
