About Ms. Marcia Hatch
Marcia Hatch is one of the top young partners in Gunderson Dettmer’s Corporate Group. Gunderson Dettmer is a leading global provider of legal services to the emerging growth marketplace, specializing in the representation of technology companies and venture capital and private equity investors. Marcia specializes in the representation of emerging growth companies and venture capital firms. Ms. Hatch uses her extensive knowledge of private company financings, mergers, acquisitions, debt transactions, corporate governance, and public offerings to help new companies find investors and to aid investors in finding promising new companies in which to invest. Marcia Hatch’s areas of expertise include clean energy, information technology, and life sciences technology verticals. Marcia has moderated numerous panels on clean energy technology in the Bay Area.
In 2008, Marcia Hatch has brokered many deals on behalf of both investors and corporate clientele. She recently acted as corporate counsel in a 115 million dollar equity financing for a privately held solar thermal company. Ms. Hatch also represented a wireless memory card company in a similar deal, and she has acted as investor counsel for a thin-film solar company investment, a renewable cement company investment, and a geothermal lithium mining investment.
Marcia Hatch completed her undergraduate education at University of California, Berkeley and received her J.D. from University of Michigan School of Law. Prior to becoming a partner at Gunderson Dettmer, Marcia was a partner at Heller Ehrman LLP.
