About Mrs. Terrie Spieker
An avid volunteer with a background in teaching, Mrs. Terrie Spieker is dedicated to improving the lives of others. Terrie Spieker is involved in numerous initiatives throughout her community. A volunteer for the Samaritan House, Terrie Spieker is an advocate for the homeless. In her role with the Samaritan House, Terrie Spieker delivers food to a variety of local homeless shelters. Furthermore, Terrie Spieker utilizes her extensive teaching skills to tutor disadvantaged children who may not have access to quality educational tools. In addition to her volunteer work, Terrie Spieker supports charitable organizations such as the American Heart Association. Terrie Spieker channels her passion for helping others into her chosen career as a teacher. Previously working as a Littleton Public School teacher, Terrie Spieker is an expert at developing innovative, engaging curriculums designed to help young children flourish academically. Terrie Spieker leverages her exemplary communication skills to establish a friendly, fair, and helpful environment in which children feel safe. With a talent for identifying specific learning styles, Terrie Spieker implements varied teaching methods to guarantee each student feels included. Terrie Spieker obtained her Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science from the Metropolitan State College of Denver. Today, Terrie Spieker is working on her Master's degree in Language and Literacy, which she plans to use to help others better understand the English language. Terrie Spieker currently makes her home in Colorado.
Terrie Spieker first gained professional experience in communications and sales as a representative at Qwest Communications' Denver offices. In this capacity, Terrie Spieker developed the skills needed to effectively collaborate with and inspire others. After receiving her specialized degree in education and special education from the Metropolitan State College of Denver, Terrie Spieker entered the public school system of Colorado as an instructor. Terrie Spieker worked directly with Denver-area students, improving their scholastic performance. In addition, Terrie Spieker created a learning environment that encouraged her students to succeed within the Denver and Littleton, Colorado, school system and beyond. Terrie Spieker continues her hard work in education by pursuing her supplementary degree in language and literacy from the University of Colorado, Denver. Upon her graduation with her Master's degree in May 2010, Terrie Spieker plans to utilize her knowledge to further educational efforts in Denver, Colorado.
