About Mr Jason Grill
Jason Grill was able to attend the Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri because he was awarded the Saint Louis University Leadership Scholarship. The scholarship provided Jason with an opportunity to be active in community service projects and with organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters, St. Louis Parks and Recreation, and the St. Louis inner-city mentorship program. While an undergrad at Saint Louis University, Jason took the role of Chairman of Philanthropy for the local Sigma Chi chapter where he helped raise money for the Children's Miracle Network. He also was active as as a member of the Omicron Delta Epsilon Economics Honor Society, the National Dean’s List Honor Society, the Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society, the Golden Key National Honor Society, the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, and the Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honor Society. With a 3.83 grade point average, Jason graduated from Saint Louis University Summa Cum Laude with his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. While he was at SLU, Jason went to Washington D.C. where he interned at The White House in the Office of the Vice President in 2000. At The White House Jason worked as an assistant to the Vice President's Senior Advisor for Urban Redevelopment and Economic Policy, Alvin Brown. Near the end of the Summer of 2000, Jason attended and helped plan the 2000 Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles, CA.
Accomplishments of Jason Grill's Early Legal Career
While enrolled at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law for his Juris Doctorate (J.D.), Jason Grill was awarded an Advanced Certificate in Dispute Resolution and was a three-time member of the Dean’s List. While in law school, Jason went back to Washington D.C. where he interned in the CNN Washington D.C. Bureau. In this capacity, Jason was the top assistant to Senior Political and Economic Correspondent Brooks Jackson. While at CNN Jason worked on many stories on Capitol Hill, as well as at The White House and the Justice Department. Mr. Jackson currently runs the popular political site www.factcheck.org. Jason Grill passed both the Missouri and Kansas Bar Exams in 2004 and 2005, respectively, and in 2006, Jason Grill became Representative Jason Grill when he was elected by a large margin to the Missouri House of Representatives.
Jason Grill: Representative for District 32
Jason Grill has been a lifelong resident of the Kansas City, Missouri area. Jason Grill currently serves as a Representative for District 32 (Southern Platte County) in the Missouri House of Representatives. As a young man, Jason was involved in Southern Platte County baseball and soccer, the Boy Scouts, and various activities at St. Therese Catholic Church. Jason Grill is currently a member of the Parkville Chamber of Commerce, Riverside Chamber of Commerce, Northland Chamber of Commerce, Platte County Economic Development Council, National Federation of Independent Business, a lector and parishioner at St. Therese Catholic Church in Parkville, a member of the Parkville Lions Club, a 4th Degree Member and Council Advocate of the Knights of Columbus at St. Therese Catholic Church, an Adult Scout Leader of Boy Scout Troop 261, a Team Captain of the Southern Platte County Athletic Association's Capital Campaign, a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation, a member of Pheasants Forever, an Honorary Member of the Missouri Sheriff's Association, and a 2005 Governor of the American Royal.
