About Mr. Wayne Dodwell
A prominent figure in health care administration, Wayne Dodwell, Principal of Dodwell @ Associates, assists nonprofit hospitals and private practices with operations and financial management. Founded in 2009, Dodwell @ Associates serves clients throughout Boston, Massachusetts.
Wayne Dodwell is a longstanding Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives. Recipient of the New England Healthcare Assembly Trustee of the Year Award in 2007 and the Modern Healthcare Trustee of the Year Honorable Mention Award in 2008, Wayne Dodwell has earned broad recognition in the health care industry.
Entering the profession, Wayne Dodwell joined the staff at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio as Assistant Laboratory Manager. Wayne Dodwell became Assistant Vice President a year later. Wayne Dodwell has served in various executive roles for several Massachusetts-based hospitals, including North Shore Medical Center, Brockton Hospital, and Lahey Clinic. Additionally, Wayne Dodwell served as President and CEO of the Down East Health System in Machias, Maine.
Prior to establishing a career in health care, Wayne Dodwell attended the University of Massachusetts and earned a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, graduating magna cum laude in 1976. Wayne Dodwell returned to the University of Massachusetts to receive a Master in Health Services Administration in 1981.
