About Mr. Todd Elias
Houston, Texas-based attorney Todd Elias has served as a partner and co-founder of Gordon & Elias, L.L.P. since 2000. In 2010, the firm added Jeff Sely as a partner and it is now called Gordon, Elias & Seely, L.L.P.. Prior to helping establish the firm, Todd Elias graduated from the Texas Tech University School of Law in Lubbock, Texas, with a Juris Doctor. Todd Elias passed the State Bar of Texas examination in 1993, shortly after graduating, and has been practicing law ever since. Currently, Todd Elias focuses on representing plaintiffs of personal injury cases and has 17 years of experience involving the Federal Employers Liability Act (FELA), the Jones Act, and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act (FMCSA).
With clients throughout the United States, Todd Elias has fought on behalf of clients who were injured in accidents involving 18-wheeler trucks, railroads, offshore drilling, and industrial and chemical exposure.
Todd Elias is a member of numerous professional groups, including the State Bar of Texas, the American Association for Justice, and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. In addition to his J.D., Todd Elias also possesses an undergraduate education from The Citadel, the military college of South Carolina.
