About Mr. Thomas Grossman
After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Pennsylvania-based Lehigh University, Tom Grossman went on to manage multimillion-dollar investment funds at some of the country’s leading financial trading institutions.
Currently serving as a Managing Partner of Union Avenue Advisors in New York City, Tom Grossman oversees hedge funds focused on international equities, maintaining all responsibilities for portfolio trading decisions. Tom Grossman founded Union Avenue Advisors in 2008 with the goal of targeting Asian, Latin American, European, African, and Middle Eastern equity markets. Due in large part to seed money provided by venture firm SkyBridge Capital, Tom Grossman built Union Avenue Advisors from the ground up, leading the growth of the hedge fund company with his nearly 20 years of financial services expertise. As a Managing Partner, Tom Grossman handles the trading activities of investments in shares, debt, and commodities located around the world.
Starting in 2000, Tom Grossman established and ran the financial company Aeneas Capital Management, administering the highly lucrative APC Fund. Tom Grossman employs the same investing strategies at Union Avenue Advisors that he did at Aeneas Capital Management, where he regulated as much as $400 million in emerging market investments until he liquidated Aeneas Capital Management in 2006.
Prior to organizing Aeneas Capital Management, Tom Grossman worked for Kingdom Capital, where he and a team supervised the business’s international trading. In 1997, Tom Grossman joined SAC Capital Advisors, LLC, a leading hedge fund firm. With SAC Capital Advisors, LLC’s founder Steve Cohen, Tom Grossman started SAC International Equities, LLC to a handle SAC Capital Advisors, LLC’s overseas portfolio.
