About Mr. Shane M. Hedges
Starting out as a Financial Analyst, Shane Hedges was quickly promoted to Managing Director of Education and then to President of a prestigious educational corporation. Shane Hedges has assisted the company in becoming the nation's leading provider of experiential academic programs. Backed by a team of professionals, Shane Hedges has consistently demonstrated a talent for discovering and implementing new channels of distribution and opportunity. Shane Hedges is also a member of Association for Corporate Growth. Prior to his work with his current employer, Shane Hedges held a position with Foley & Lardner as a Strategic Communications Consultant. Specializing in public relations and strategic positioning, Shane Hedges expertly guided clients through industry challenges and provided them with the tools to overcome them. From 1999 to 2002, Mr. Hedges served as the Montana Governor's Chief Policy Director and was the youngest person to have ever held that position. In his role, Shane Hedges led a cabinet of 13 officers, in addition to a policy staff of 4 employees. In 1996, Shane Hedges graduated from American University with his Bachelor's degree in Communications, Law, Economics, and Government. Shane Hedges went on to attend the University of Maryland, where he earned his Master of Business Administration in 2006. Passionate about helping others both professionally and personally, Shane Hedges is involved in charitable endeavors. A resident of Washington, DC, Shane Hedges enjoys traveling, reading, running, and spending time with his family.
