About Mr. Shane Hedges
Shane Hedges took a leadership position with a leading learning company five years ago when he joined the firm as the Managing Director of Education. At the time, the company sought an individual that could design, construct, and implement meaningful programs that would further the company's reach to families around the world. Shane Hedges led a team of visionary professionals across several departments in the identification of scalable opportunities that blended educational excellence and responsibility. His experience was instructive and valuable for both Shane Hedges and his employer. Soon he was promoted to the office he holds today: President.
As President of the firm, Shane Hedges is primarily responsible for ensuring that all of the company’s programs are of the highest quality in the education sector - a responsibility his team has met by ensuring that 97% of their students say the company meets or exceeds expectations. Shane is further responsible for overseeing policies that ensure customer satisfaction. Mr. Hedges’ leadership capacity is at a premium in his role as President; Shane has devised an intra-office communications plan that engages employees and encourages discussion of relevant work-related issues. Using various meeting formats and annual performance measurements, Shane Hedges has surrounded himself with a quality executive team that meets company goals and lays the groundwork for future growth.
Shane Hedges holds previous executive-level management experience as a Strategic Communications Consultant for the Washington, D.C. consulting firm Foley & Lardner. As a Strategic Communications Consultant, Shane Hedges was responsible for the accurate assessment of competition as it pertained to acquisition of target clients.
Mr. Hedges received his undergraduate degree from American University in Washington, D.C. He later matriculated at the University of Maryland and earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2006.
