About Mr. Salah Izzedin
A widely successful entrepreneur and business leader, Salah Izzedin has served as a senior executive and owner of numerous commercial ventures over the course of his nearly four-decade career.
Salah Izzedin attended the Columbia Business School at Columbia University, where he earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) before beginning his career in entrepreneurial pursuits. In 1972, the year of his graduation, Salah Izzedin, along with two colleagues, founded Latina Fuel Corporation. Under the direction of Salah Izzedin, Latina Fuel Corporation grew to a multi-million venture, representing American oil interests in Central and South America. Salah Izzedin’s keen leadership and insight into oil trading in central and South America garnered him recognition as an exceptional executive. In 1983, Oceanic Oil Corporation selected Salah Izzedin to serve as President and Chief Executive Officer of the European oil company.
In addition to working in the oil industry, Salah Izzedin headed a venture within the entertainment sector in Dallas and Huston. Gaining prominence within the Texas nightlife scene, Salah Izzedin received one of the highest honors in Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. Eventually, Salah Izzedin withdrew most of his time and money from his numerous investments to open a restaurant business, Texas de Brazil Corporation. Founded in 1998 in Addison, Texas, Texas de Brazil exemplifies the traditional Brazilian steakhouses. Popular due to its fine cuisines and superior services, Texas de Brazil has opened several locations throughout the United States and in Aruba.
