After a diverse career in leading companies and serving as an angel investor to various early-stage endeavors, Robert T. Harvey used the valuable insights he had gained in order to start his own company, Harvest Petroleum, Inc. With oil well drilling operations in Louisiana and Texas, Robert T. Harvey’s company has garnered prestigious recognition for its work.
Robert T. Harvey graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Industrial Engineering, after which his career took off. Mr. Harvey has held a series of key executive positions in leading companies, including Butcher & Singer, Jefferies & Company, and the International Nickel Company of Canada. In addition, Robert T. Harvey has become known as a visionary businessman and investor, and his support of start-up companies in a wide range of industries, such as wireless, biotechnology, storage networking hardware, and enterprise software, is results-oriented and profit-driven.
Robert T. Harvey has raised capital in excess of $80 million and has overseen multiple beneficial and smooth transactions for the companies he has assisted. Among Robert T. Harvey’s countless achievements was the $13 million increase in profits, at the time of sale of Dot Hill, Inc., for the junior preferred shareholders of Chaparral Networks Storage, where he was the Lead Director representing the junior preferred class of shareholders.
Committed to improving the oil and gas industry and staying abreast of all advances in the field, Robert T. Harvey is actively involved with numerous professional organizations devoted to engineering and petroleum, including the Independent Petroleum Association of America, the Society of Petroleum Engineers, and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists.
