About Mr. Robert Pardes
Toms River, New Jersey, resident Robert Pardes has held leadership positions at multibillion dollar financial institutions, shared his economic expertise as a source to regional newspapers, national news services, and trade publications. Robert Pardes is a Certified Public Accountant and corporate attorney by trade. Presently, Robert Pardes serves as a Consultant to the asset management division of a leading investment bank, where he supports strategic initiatives relating to global mortgage finance.
Robert Pardes co-founded and continues to serve as Managing Director Emeritus of RRMS Advisors. With RRMS Advisors, Robert Pardes was a project manager in connection with an assignment for a government-sponsored enterprise and played a key role in identifying investment strategies created by the credit crisis. Although no longer an official member of RRMS Advisors, Robert Pardes continues to offer strategic counsel and resources to the company.
In the past, Robert Pardes has overseen a staff of 250, as well as commercial and residential lending, loan servicing, and mortgage banking, as Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer of OceanFirst Bank. Additionally, Robert Pardes has managed a sizeable portfolio of multifamily loans and led dynamic growth in the company’s servicing portfolio as CFO (1987 to 1989) and then as President and CEO (1989 to 2000) of Columbia Home Loans, a regional mortgage banking firm.
As a leader in his field, Robert Pardes has appeared in American Banker, Bloomberg News, BNN, the New York Post, Advisor Perspectives, and other leading publications and trade journals. Earning his undergraduate degree in Accounting and Finance from State University of New York at Albany, Robert Pardes went on to graduate with a Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School. Additionally, Robert Pardes and his family are active members of the Jewish community of Ocean County and are involved in several leading breast cancer organizations.
