About Mr. Patrick Imbardelli
Mr. Patrick Imbardelli has built a solid career in the hospitality industry since obtaining his diploma in Hotel and Motel Management. Patrick Imbardelli commenced his career as a Restaurant Manager for Hilton International. Upon leaving the company in 1988, Patrick Imbardelli had risen to the position of Resident Manager for the Brisbane Hilton in Australia.
After a series of positions as General Manager, Area General Manager, and Regional General Manager at companies such as Gold Coast International Hotel, Saigon Floating Hotel, and PARKROYAL, Patrick Imbardelli took a role as Director of Marketing for Southern Pacific Hotel Corporation (SPHC) for Australia, New Zealand, and French Polynesia. Patrick Imbardelli oversaw group marketing, brand marketing, public affairs, and corporate communications, inter alia. Patrick Imbardelli’s diverse experience prepared him for his next role as Deputy Chief Operating Officer of SPHC, where he assisted in preparing for integration into potential global acquirers.
Since undertaking his first executive role, Patrick Imbardelli has held a variety of leading roles at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), Asia Pacific, beginning with Vice President of Marketing. Demonstrating a keen talent for leadership, Patrick Imbardelli went on to secure roles as Senior Vice President of Corporate Services and then as Chief Executive Officer of IHG’s Asia Pacific region.
Today, Patrick Imbardelli serves as the President and Chief Executive Director of Pan Pacific Hotels Group and is a board member of the Singapore publicly listed company, where he applies his 30 years of management, marketing, and operations expertise toward running the multinational company.
Patrick Imbardelli has increased his industry knowledge through participation in a number of developmental programs, as well as obtaining his Master’s degree in Finance. Patrick Imbardelli’s efforts to improve both academically and professionally have led to awards such as the Kodak International Award for Excellence of Service for Foreign Investments in Developing Countries, the General Manager of the Year Award from Southern Pacific Hotel Corporation, and most recently, the Asia Pacific Hotelier of the Year Award 2006 from Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels.
Patrick Imbardelli is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the Young Presidents’ Organization and the Singapore Institute of Directors.
