About Mr. Kevin Kuritzky
Health care advocate Kevin Kuritzky displays a lifelong passion for science, outreach, and transparency in the industry. An Atlanta, Georgia, resident, Kevin Kuritzky regularly volunteers with the Atlanta Union Mission, a six-facility shelter offering food, recovery programs, and transitional housing to homeless and impoverished individuals.
Kevin Kuritzky became actively involved in community outreach as an undergraduate at the University of California, San Diego. While he studied Sociology and Molecular Biology, Kevin Kuritzky volunteered with the San Diego Harm Reduction Network and the Flying Samaritans, programs dedicated to providing medical services to people in need. Kevin Kuritzky also served as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
After receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in 2000, Kevin Kuritzky went on to attend the Emory University School of Medicine. During this time, Kevin Kuritzky chaired the Student Health Integrity Project and garnered the title of Doctors for Open Government Student of the Year. In 2005, Kevin Kuritzky was invited to speak at the Congressional Forum on Health Care.
Currently, Kevin Kuritzky works with Atlanta, Georgia-based legal firm KDR Consulting. Outside of his professional duties, Kevin Kuritzky demonstrates the same passion he held as Chair of the Student Health Integrity Project by supporting the Government Accountability Project in Washington, D.C. He also regularly contributes to the Sierra Club and The One Campaign.
Kevin Kuritzky recently published his first book, Cut from the Same Cloth.
