A licensed pediatrician and experienced medical executive, John F. Goldener currently serves as the President of Goldener Executive Search Associates, a retained executive search agency based in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Goldener Executive Search Associates specializes in placing senior-level executives in the medical sector, including in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare management industries.
A former pediatrician and head of a large private medical practice, John Goldener brings his unique perspective on both sides of the healthcare industry to his current position. Prior to founding Goldener Executive Search Associates, John Goldener was the Founder of Main Line Pediatrics and Pediatric Associations of the Main Line in Pennsylvania. In this role for more than two decades, John Goldener developed Main Line Pediatrics into a successful 50-employee practice spanning 3 locations throughout Pennsylvania. During his tenure leading Main Line Pediatrics, John Goldener also served as the Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Main Line's Lankenau Hospital, where he helped build the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
A strong reason for John Goldener's success is his extensive network of contacts in the medical industry. John Goldener maintains affiliations in a number of professional medical organizations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the European Society for Medical Oncology, the American Academy of Neurology, the American Academy of Pharmaceutical Physicians, and the American College of Physician Executives. Extensively educated, John Goldener earned his BS from Georgetown College and his MD from Georgetown University.
