About Mr. Jared West
An alumnus of Loyola Marymount University, Mr. Jared West has built a solid reputation as a business professional since obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting. Since commencing his career, Jared West has become known among clients and colleagues alike for his unparalleled, results-oriented drive. In 2006, Jared West founded Mantis Knives, which has grown into a multimillion-dollar, multinational cutlery company. Jared West’s commitment to providing high-quality products was recently reflected in Mantis Knives’ honorable mention as one of the 10 Top Knives of the Decade by Blade magazine.
Since establishing Mantis Knives, Jared West has picked up a variety of other roles with which to hone his skills. Jared West serves as the Chairman of Westwayz International Trading, where he works closely with a three-company operation to import products from China and Belarus into the United States. Jared West also serves as a Licensed National Sales Manager for Polaroid, Inc. In this capacity, Jared West heads a sales team dedicated to promoting the company’s newest lines. Most recently, Jared West took a position as a Licensed Product Line Manager for The Sharper Image, where he leverages his knowledge of industrial and graphic design to create dynamic products and packaging for the popular brand.
Passionate about helping others, Jared West utilizes much of his free time to volunteer with organizations such as the Consciousness Center of Orange County and the AV Team at The Crossing Church in Costa Mesa. Jared West further supports individuals in need with generous contributions to charities such as the Orangewood Children’s Home, the Sportsmen Helping Children Fund, and the Salvation Army.
When he wants to relax, California-resident Jared West enjoys mountain biking, auto racing, yachting, reading, writing, and spending time with his loved ones.
