About Mr. Eric Lent
Currently the Vice President of Marketing Excellence and Strategy at The Hershey Company, Eric Lent spearheads advertising, consumer promotions, global brand development, and global marketing strategy. Eric Lent possesses a formidable knowledge and insight into national marketing campaigns. Eric Lent first obtained marketing experience when he worked with high-profile New York advertising firms Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising, Grey Advertising, and Ketchum Advertising.
Over the next several years, Eric Lent rose through the ranks at Eastman Kodak, where in 1999 he became Director of Picture Maker Kiosks and Mobile Phone Imaging at Eastman Kodak, U.S. and Canada Consumer Imaging. Under Eric Lent’s leadership, Kodak and Nokia forged a prosperous partnership developing camera-phone technology and printing. Eric Lent’s tenure as an executive of Kodak saw a 366% increase in printed pictures using Eastman Kodak’s systems. After working with Kodak for five years, Eric Lent transitioned to The Hershey Company. Since 2004, Eric Lent has held numerous leadership positions at Hershey and utilized his wide range of expertise.
Eric Lent’s time at Hershey has been marked not only by outstanding sales improvement and organizational prowess, but also an aptitude for team leadership and inspiration. Encouraging open communication and placing an emphasis on cooperation in the workplace, Eric Lent has received praise from his colleagues for possessing a supportive managerial style and a real talent for bringing out the best in others.
The recipient of a BS from Baltimore’s Towson University, Eric Lent pursued a Master of Business Administration at Milwaukee’s Marquette University. In his free time, Eric Lent holds a number of community leadership positions: he is a board member of his former alma mater, Towson University College of Business and Economics, and is a wrestling coach at Manheim Township Youth League. Eric Lent is a member of the Marketing Executives Networking Group and Men’s Fraternity church group.
