About Mr. Dwight Shane Baldwin
An inspired entrepreneur, Mr. Dwight Shane Baldwin opened his first business in Laie, Hawaii, while studying business administration and marketing at Brigham Young University-Hawaii. Having bought franchise rights for the state of Hawaii, Dwight Shane Baldwin sold those rights as he finished school, marking the first of many successful business ventures. Currently, Dwight Shane Baldwin is the Chief Executive Officer and President of SilverLeaf Financial, which he established in 2007 after the sale of various other unique businesses. SilverLeaf Financial is a private equity firm that maintains a constant influx of performing and non-performing first position loan pools from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and other financial institutions for the purpose of prompt monetization. Recently, SilverLeaf Financial acquired two key Ohio properties, an office complex in Shaker Heights, and a regional retail shopping mall in Bowling Green, an especially important procurement due to the city’s college population. Prior to founding SilverLeaf Financial, Dwight Shane Baldwin worked at Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor for over three years, and through business expansion and new client acquisitions, he earned the company $600 million.
Taking an active role in his community, Dwight Shane Baldwin is involved in a number of social organizations and supports a number of charities. Dwight Shane Baldwin regularly donates to the Point of Hope Foundation, which helps improve the quality of life for needy children and families, and the Huntsman Cancer Foundation, which funds the Huntsman Cancer Institute. In addition, Dwight Shane Baldwin holds seats on the boards of the National Shaken Baby Foundation and the Northern Utah Chapter of the American Red Cross. A former President of Toastmasters, Dwight Shane Baldwin continues his participation in the organization and is also a member of the National Exchange Club. When not working, Dwight Shane Baldwin enjoys playing golf, reading, and spending time with his wife and two sons at his home in Centerville, Utah.
