With over 25 years of experience leading and developing multimillion-dollar companies, Dennis G. McLaughlin is responsible for the continued expansion and creation of several businesses and firms as operating Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board.
In October 2009, Dennis G. McLaughlin was appointed to serve as Chairman of the Board for Big Star Media Group, Inc., an entertainment and information distributor headquartered in Clarksdale, Mississippi. In this position, Dennis G. McLaughlin has exercised significant influence over the development of the music, film, and communications firm, ensuring that Big Star Media Group remains at the cutting edge of digital media technology and serves the recording and music industry in a variety of ways. Dennis G. McLaughlin, along with his executive colleagues, offers corporate advice and strategic guidance to connect artists with their ideal consumer audiences by utilizing new information technology. As Chairman of the Board, Dennis McLaughlin advances the endeavors of all subsidiaries of Big Star Media Group, Inc., including Big Star Live, Big Star Records, Big Star Informative Media, Big Star Films, and Big Star Communications.
In addition to his work with Big Star Media Group, Inc., Dennis G. McLaughlin holds a number of executive positions in the energy industry, for which he has facilitated important developments in research and technology over the years. Dennis G. McLaughlin founded his own company, Aurora Natural Gas, LLC, in 1993, and soon after, established Aurion Technologies in 1994. Dennis G McLaughlin oversaw these firms as they gained national recognition as leaders in the natural gas industry. Dennis G McLaughlin sold his interests in both companies in 2001. Dennis G. McLaughlin also operated as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Blue Wireless & Data, Inc. and Ocean Resources, Inc.
Currently, Dennis G. McLaughlin serves as the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Evolution Resources, CEO of Evolution Fuels, and Chairman of the Board of Southwest Resources.
