About Mr. Delvarin Jarrod Milloy
Mr. Delvarin Jarrod Milloy studied at Alcorn State University in Lorman, Mississippi, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in History Education and a Master of Science in Physical Education. During his last year of graduate study, Delvarin Jarrod Milloy served as a Graduate Assistant to the school’s Head Coach and Assistant Coaches for the baseball team, and he performed a variety of duties that ranged from making travel arrangements to supervising players. In between studying for his two degrees, Delvarin Jarrod Milloy spent five years as a Teacher, Coach, and Bus Driver at the Mount Olive Attendance Center in Mount Olive, Mississippi. In addition to instructing classes in English, Social Studies, and Physical Education, Delvarin Jarrod Milloy acted as the Head Boys Basketball Coach and the Head Baseball Coach at both the junior high and high school levels. In 2008, Delvarin Jarrod Milloy was named the District VII 1-A Basketball Coach of the Year, only a season after taking the baseball team to the state playoffs for the first time in the school’s history.
Currently, Delvarin Jarrod Milloy works at the Five County Child Development Center in Prentiss, Mississippi, as the Clerk for its Senior Citizens Program. In addition to managing the program’s documentation, Delvarin Jarrod Milloy participates in all of its various activities for senior citizens, including recreational events, field trips, transportation for medical reasons, and lunches. Delvarin Jarrod Milloy strives to be sensitive to the requirements of each senior citizen, doing everything in his power to ensure their comfort and enjoyment.
Concurrent with his position at the Five County Child Development Center, Delvarin Jarrod Milloy works with his local Boys and Girls Club and tutors students in summer school. Delvarin Jarrod Milloy also continues his interest in coaching as a summer Little League Baseball Official. In his free time, Delvarin Jarrod Milloy relaxes by fishing and reading, and he enjoys the powerful narratives of authors like Maya Angelou.
