About Mr. David Wexler
Psychopharmacologist Dr. David Wexler concentrates his specialized training and extensive skill on the treatment of mental health-related disorders. David Wexler focuses on more complex and treatment-resistant cases, and he uses his background in consultation/liaison psychiatry to collaborate with other medical specialists and therapists alike to ensure the most comprehensive care for each patient.
The many areas of David Wexler’s expertise in psychopharmacology and related fields include the management of co-occurring pain and depression/anxiety, emergency psychiatry, and in-patient psychiatry. As a result of his tireless approach to psychopharmacological treatment, David Wexler has received the Patients’ Choice Award in 2008, 2009, and 2010 among other honors.
David Wexler earned his Bachelor of Arts (AB) in Biology from Harvard University and completed his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego. David Wexler completed his residency at Harbor/UCLA Medical Center. In his spare time, David Wexler enjoys playing the oboe and the piano as well as studying foreign languages.
