Since June 2000, licensed social worker and counselor Bruce Maag has invested his time and energy into his work as Chief Executive Officer and President of the International Phoenix Group. Based in Delphos, Ohio, Bruce Maag founded the International Phoenix Group following 30 years in various roles in the mental health and human services sectors. Through the International Phoenix Group, Bruce Maag provides essential help and treatment to underserved and emotionally disturbed children in foster care and commands an extensive network of professionals across 8 states. Prior to the establishment of the International Phoenix Group, Bruce Maag founded several national and statewide programs to serve organizations in the human services industry. As CEO and President of Specialized Alternative for Families and Youth of America (SAFY) from January 1984 through December 1999, Bruce Maag ran a multi-state foster care management firm with 250 professionals on staff and 1300 children in placement programs. Bruce Maag also formed the National Institute of Alternative Care Professionals (NIFACP) and Human Service Professions (HSP).
