About Mr. Bobby Huckabee
Since 1983, Bobby Huckabee has served as the President and CEO of Southland Amusements & Vending, Inc, a company that operates arcade-style games in a variety of amusement and entertainment venues. Through Bobby Huckabee’s keen business savvy, Southland Amusements has risen through the ranks to become the leading supplier of state of the art games and services. Additionally, Southland Amusements operates leagues for billiards, darts, and other various games. In 1998, Bobby Huckabee spearheaded the founding of Southland Gaming of the Virgin Islands, Inc. After answering a Request For Proposal (RFP) issued by the United States Virgin Islands (U.S.V.I.) government, Bobby Huckabee led the way to winning the bid to secure an exclusive 15-year contract with the U.S.V.I. Lottery to operate the Video Lottery Program in the territory. Under Bobby Huckabee’s capable executive leadership, Southland Gaming of the Virgin Islands has on average increased the U.S.V.I. Lottery’s revenue in excess of 10% per year. Bobby Huckabee is a big believer in giving back to the community and does so both professionally and personally through liberal monetary contributions to various charitable organizations. Young Life, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Community Foundation of St. Thomas, and the Methodist Shelter for the Homeless are just a few of the many organizations that benefit from Bobby Huckabee’s generosity and goodwill. A resident of North Carolina, Bobby Huckabee enjoys outdoor activities, such as boating, surfing, and hunting. An avid reader, Bobby Huckabee counts Tom Peters, Stephen Covey, and Norman McLean among his favorite authors.
