Morris Kalichman

New York resident Morris Kalichman holds many professional responsibilities, but he also makes time for personal pursuits. He likes to engage in physical activities that keep him fit, such as playing tennis, spending a day on the links, as well as hiking. An amateur photographer, Morris Kalichman indulges in his hobby as much as possible. As a member of the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce, Morris Kalichman actively promotes economic and civic development of the Rensselaer Gateway communities and takes part in helping businesses in the area reach their full potential. Presently, Morris Kalichman acts as President for a large residential and corporate housing property that has earned a reputation as a great place to live.

 

A boon to the neighborhood as well, the property won the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Beautification Achievement Award. In addition to running the day-to-day operations of the complex, Morris Kalichman also works on his own development projects at other sites. In this arena, he takes responsibility for improving the raw land prior to construction, arranging for drainage and utility installations, obtaining government permits, and constructing access roads. Morris Kalichman holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from The City University New York’s Baruch College and a Master’s in Public Administration from Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York.
