Morgan Muchnick Ph.D.

Beginning his political career in Washington, D.C., Security Analyst Morgan Muchnick initially worked as a member of the Senate’s Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. He worked for Senators Fred Thompson and Susan Collins, performing budgetary, international affairs, and legislative tasks that were instrumental in the creation of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). In addition, Mr. Muchnick’s time with the Committee involved drafting outlines for international affairs, disaster preparedness, and cyber security for the DHS.

Subsequently, Morgan Muchnick stayed in Washington, D.C., accepting a role as a speechwriter for Ambassador Daniel Ayalon of Israel. From 2004 to 2005, Mr. Muchnick drafted all of Ambassador Ayalon’s speeches and communications. These speeches were forwarded to the White House, members of Congress, and the Cabinet.

In 2005, Morgan Muchnick began employment as a Homeland Security Communications Consultant for the Unisys Corporation. Based out of Arlington, Virginia, Mr. Muchnick’s role with Unisys allowed him to collaborate with high-ranking Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officials, as well as the Defense Business Council. Additionally, Mr. Muchnick worked closely with Boeing to enable the implementation of the Secure Border Initiative (SBI).

After his tenure at Unisys Corp., Morgan Muchnick took a position at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Inc. (AIAA), as a Public Policy Manager. In this position, Mr. Muchnick represented the organization at defense advocacy coalitions. He was also an advocate for the group when it came to NASA and DHS related issues.

From 2008 to 2011, Morgan Muchnick served Turner Government and Public Affairs as a Consultant on Public Affairs. Mr. Muchnick has also served as a Homeland Security Analyst for SRA International, Inc.
