¨       Working as Coating Inspector for the GASCO Jetty Refurbishment Project at GASCO Ruwais.

                             

Oct 10 to March 11             Coating Inspector

                             

                                          Bureau Veritas, Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia

 

¨       Worked as Third Party Inspector for SAUDI ARAMCO for Tank Project at tauraif, Saudi Arabia.

 

 

Sep 09- to Oct 10                QA/ QC Coating And Painting Inspector (Dolphin Energy And STG Project-           Tawilah Fujairah Project).

¨       Worked as QA/QC coating and painting inspector for Dolphin Energy and Stroy-Trans-Gas (STG) on 48” gas pipeline (Tawilah Fujairah Gas Pipeline Project).

¨       Responsible for application of heat shrink sleeves and all the process involved in the application.

¨       Responsible for painting of different customized items in paint shop.

¨       Performing different tests like void test and pull off test.  

 

Sep 08- to Sep 09               Quality Control Engineer (Coating and Painting)

 

            Al-Qahtani Pipe Coating Terminal (AQPCT) (Dammam, Saudi Arabia)

 

¨         Working as an In-Charge of Primer Application Plant and Custom Shop and verifying all the process from incoming rack to final inspection for these plants.

¨         Responsible for all kinds of necessary inspection and documentation related to Quality Control process.

¨       Duties included advising the project painting supervisors on the coating system and application of the coatings, advising the client about different types of coating systems for the project plus monitoring the mixing and application of the paint in accordance to the quality standards.

¨       Experienced in various coating system such as epoxy, polyurethane, solvent free, glass flake, FBE coating for pipes as well as field joints application using FBE powder and Heat Shrink Sleeve application for buried pipeline field joints.

¨       To liaise with client representatives, paint manufacturers, Third party inspectors, planning and estimation department prior to execute blasting and painting operations as per quality standards.

¨         Ensure all blasting, painting, coating and wrapping activities are carried out as per the contractual requirements and specification guide lines.

¨         Operations involved blasting, painting of newly fabricated AG carbon steel and stainless steel piping spools, newly fabricated structural steel, pipe supports etc using Inorganic zinc silicate, Epoxy mastic and polyurethane and blasting, painting and wrapping of UG carbon steel piping spools and separator vessels etc. using cold applied serviwrap primer, serviwrap tape and mastic putty.

¨         Responsible for implementation of different Work Procedures in plant for different clients.  

¨         Performing necessary inspections to ensure quality of the coating.
