Recipient of the Los Angeles Philanthropic Scholarship Award, Dr. Miriam Galindo received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Chapman University, graduating with honors, Magna Cum Laude. She obtained her Master's degree in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach, where she received the Outstanding Graduate Award. Dr. Miriam Galindo then completed her doctorate in Psychology at Trinity College of Graduate Studies.
Dr. Galindo is credentialed and registered as a child play therapist. She also holds a post-graduate certificate in Paralegal Studies. She has worked in the mental health field as both a social worker and psychologist for over 20 years.
Dr. Miriam Galindo was trained in the assessment and treatment of sexual abuse through Parents United/Child Sexual Abuse Treatment Program. She also received certificates in SANE-P and SANE-A training. She is on the panel of approved investigators for Orange County Superior Court.
Currently, she works in private practice with her husband Jorge Galindo, MFT, providing services to children and families of divorce.
