About Mindy Weiss Saffer
Mindy Weiss Saffer graduated from the University of Maryland in the mid-1980s with a Bachelor of Science in Textile Marketing, and she completed a Master of Science in Marketing at Johns Hopkins University in 1995. For more than twenty years, Mindy Weiss Saffer has worked in the commercial real estate industry in the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Active in her professional community, Mindy Weiss Saffer belongs to in the Commercial Real Estate Women, the District of Columbia Building Industry Association, and the Greater Washington Commercial Association of REALTORS (GWCAR). Since earning GWCAR’s Rising Star Award in 2005, Mindy Weiss Saffer was awarded membership into the organization’s Multi-Million Dollar Leasing Club. Mindy Weiss Saffer stays involved with the American Society of Association Executives and The Center for Association Leadership.
Now serving as a Principal at West, Lane & Schlager in Washington, D.C., Mindy Weiss Saffer has enjoyed employment by the firm since 1999. Over the past decade, Mindy Weiss Saffer has consistently proven herself to be a top producer, closing over 500,000 square feet of real estate transactions. Primarily, Mindy Weiss Saffer represents not-for-profit and trade organizations, such as the National Parks Conservation Association, the National Recycling Coalition, and the Association of Public Television Stations. Before joining West, Lane & Schlager, Mindy Weiss Saffer worked as a Marketing Consultant for a number of real estate-related companies, including an office relocation firm, a MEP Engineering firm, a general contractor, and a commercial interior architecture firm. Informed by the wide array of skills that she garnered in these positions, Mindy Weiss Saffer continues to offer an incomparable level of service to her clients.
When not serving clients at West, Lane & Schlager, Mindy Weiss Saffer stays active in her local community and pursues interests in green building and sports. Dedicated to helping those in need, Mindy Weiss Saffer donates resources to Christ House as well as the American Lung Association.
