For over two decades, Mindy W. Saffer has enjoyed working in the commercial real estate industry in Washington, D.C. Currently, Mindy W. Saffer serves as a Principal at West, Lane & Schlager, having joined the firm in 1999 as its first female broker. Throughout her career at West, Lane & Schlager, Mindy W. Saffer has received consistent recognition as a top producer and won the firm’s Rising Star Award in 2004. Primarily representing local nonprofit and trade organizations, Mindy W. Saffer successfully facilitated over 500,000 square feet of real estate transactions since accepting her appointment. In addition to aiding her clients in acquiring new commercial space, Mindy W. Saffer assisted customers in selling property and negotiating new and existing leases. Accredited by the U. S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program, Mindy W. Saffer continues to be involved in the American Society of Association Executives and The Center for Association Leadership, as well as the Financial & Administration Roundtable.

Mindy W. Saffer studied textile marketing at the University of Maryland, earning a Bachelor of Science before pursuing graduate studies at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Earning her Master of Science in Marketing in 1995, Mindy W. Saffer remains an integral part of the Johns Hopkins University Alumni Association. A respected industry professional, Mindy W. Saffer has written articles for publication in BoardSource and WomenBiz. Active in the local industry community, Mindy W. Saffer serves as a member of both Commercial Real Estate Women and the District of Columbia Building Industry Association.

In her limited time for recreation, Mindy W. Saffer supports the multifarious pursuits of her three children and enjoys spending time at the beach. Mindy W. Saffer is also an avid amateur snowboarder and a budding motorcycle enthusiast.
