Milton Louw - Objectives:
My objectives are:
- Through my training at the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) in France and my experience at the Offshore Development Company and Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, assist in the development of the public and private sector institutions in Namibia to better serve and assist in the economic development;
- To promote investment opportunities in Namibia to attract investment which will alleviate unemployment and generate foreign exchange; and
- To provide through my experience and expertise, assistance in the development of Namibia and its people.
- My long-term goal is to create an Economic Database for Namibia that can be used for entrepreneur identification, credit provision and economic statistics. To achieve this goal, I have created proprietary databases, containing both company and consumer information.
Milton Louw - Professional Summary:
Entrepreneur and Business Owner since school days. Upon entering University realised political change, economic emancipation and information technology are converging to create opportunities for self-driven country development strategies.
Worked for the Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry through its formative years of bringing together the white and black business communities. Later joined the Executive Committee of the NCCI.
Been involved in country marketing strategies for Namibia, Botswana and Mauritius. Worked in international investment promotion at the United Nations Industrial Organisation's Investment Promotion Service in Paris, France.
Since 1999 been developing a central register for improved economic efficiencies in developing countries.
