Rabbi Milton Balkany is widely known and celebrated as the Rabbi that gives his blessing, encouragement and support with opening invocations and prayers at various gatherings and public forums. He opened the United States House of Representatives in 2003 with the following prayerful words, "I stand here today among the jewels of our nation, men and women who are precious, who radiate dedication, and they have been selected as the leaders of our land."
