Michelle Birkman - Professional Summary:    I have spent the last 11 years working in Financial Services for a series of Life Insurance Companies. I began my career as an Actuarial Trainee. A few years ago I completed the FPC examinations with the intention of becoming a Financial Advisor. Then last year I became involved with The Claims Warehouse.  This has provided me with a very rewarding opportunity - starting my own business and helping people overcome some of their debt problems.

 

Michelle Birkman - Professional Experience:    

 

1998 -  joined Guardian Royal Exchange as a Trainee Actuary.

GRE was taken over by AXA who later sold the Life Insurance business to AEGON.

I have over 10 years experience pricing Life Insurance products.

 

2008 - started my own business as an Independent Consultant for The Claims Warehouse.

 

 

Michelle Birkman - Education:     

 

1994-1998 Salford University - first class honours degree in Business Operation and Control 

 

Michelle Birkman - Interests:     

 

I have always been very interested in watching sport and playing sport.  Since having my children I have stopped playing hockey which I had enjoyed for many years. Most of my spare time now is spent having fun with my husband and 2 young children - we love to get out as much as possible and have recently been on our first camping trip together.
