Michael leads the directives of The Wildlife Management Group in providing strategic wildlife management solutions to Airports, Turf management, Municipal Government, Property Management, Food industries across Canada. In 2010, The Wildlife Management Group has initiated "Quality Care" program for specialized wildlife control to residential properties.

These wildlife solutions include the development of Hazard Risk Assessments,Wildlife Management Plan implementation, structural exclusion design and installation, and applied training for on -site staff.

 

As a Certified Goose Managmenet Professional, his experience in assessing and implementing Canada Goose Management Programs is extensive and very successful. He continues with research on Canada Geese, and effective integrated controls, in conjunction with the University of Guelph's Turfgrass   Institute and Environmental Research Center.

 

 

June 2004 - January 2008 (3 years 8 months)

During his tenure at Orkin Canada, Michael was instrumental in the development and of the Bird & Wildlife business  for the Bird & Wildlife services nationally, (personally exceeded sales quotas by 1200% during initial 2 years).

Specializing in Environrmental Bird Control, Michael developed strategic sales initiatives to attain new, and enhance existing market share from coast to coast.
These wildlife assessment and control programs were implemented to sites including; City of Hamilton, City of Orillia, City of Kitchener,Pickering Nuclear site (OPG), airports, commercial & retail properties, national accounts, food service sites, golf courses, residential complexes and industrial facilities.
While inititiating sales, he worked closely with Orkin's Wildlife Service specialists developing quality standards and effective service solutions for this growing client base.

For his business development achievements, and continually exceeding sales quotas nationwide, Michael gained status as a member of Orkin Canada's 100% club in 2007.
