A Los Angeles native, Michael A. Feinberg, DDS, serves as an Orthodontist at Goldstein & Feinberg Orthodontics in Scottsdale, Arizona, which operates under Affiliated Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. In this role, Dr. Feinberg corrects the function and appearance of child, teen, and adult patients with traditional braces, Invisalign clear aligners, SureSmile, and other orthodontic therapies, including those for cleft palates. Prior to his role at Goldstein & Feinberg Orthodontics, Dr. Michael Feinberg worked for Berkeley Orthodontics providing similar treatments.
Dr. Feinberg has also worked as the Chief Resident in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where he earned his MS in Oral Biology and a Certificate in Orthodontics as well as his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Shortly thereafter, he assumed the role of Associate Professor in the Department of Growth and Development at UCSF. Dr. Michael Feinberg additionally holds a BA in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, which he received after spending a semester studying in Jerusalem.
During his education, Michael Feinberg primarily researched maxillofacial abnormalities, including cleft lips and palates. His master’s thesis was titled “A Longitudinal Cephalometric Study of Maxillary and Cranial Base Growth in Unilateral Cleft Lip and Palate.” He has also contributed to papers on related subjects that have received publication in the Journal of Dental Research. In addition, he has earned a number of awards and recognitions from the American Dental Association, the International Association for Dental Research, and the American Association for Dental Research.
He is a past President of the Arizona State Orthodontic Association, Dr. Michael Feinberg serves on the Board of Directors at the Valley of the Sun Jewish Community Center and he volunteers his time with the Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center. Dr. Feinberg also maintains membership with the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics, the Arizona Dental Association, and the Arizona Orthodontic Study Group, along with a variety of other professional organizations.
