To date, Mel Schrieberg has developed and implemented a project management plan that led to the quick growth of a music website and developed business and marketing plans resulting in the high valuation of an emerging software business.


Mel Schrieberg possesses a diverse background with roles at some of the technology industry’s leading companies. As co-founder and former President and Chief Operating Officer of Election.com, Mel Schrieberg built the company into a $35 million operation in less than 3 years. Election.com became the first company to provide comprehensive online election management services, working with clients around the world, including the United Nations. After successfully establishing Election.com as one of Red Herring Magazine’s Top 50 Private Companies in the World, Mel Schrieberg went on to oversee the management buyout of the website for Election Services Corporation.


In addition to pioneering online election management services, Mel Schrieberg has channeled his leadership experience into a number of other executive roles, including Senior Vice President for Strategic Business Development, Marketing, and Sales for Proginet Corporation, a role to which he was recruited specifically to develop a strategic corporate plan. Mel Schrieberg also served as Senior Vice President of Marketing, Sales, and Strategic Planning for Applied Graphics Technologies; Vice President of Global Accounts at Automatic Data Processing; Eastern Region Manager for IBM Corporation; and President of ROLM Operation Company. Mel Schrieberg earned an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Marketing Management from the University of Rhode Island.

Founded SCC, specializing in the development and implementation of a strategic business plan that positions a company for accelerated growth. Additional areas of concentration include: increasing top line revenues, a “starter kit” for emerging companies, and digital transformation services.

• Crafted and implemented a strategic business plan for a software-based healthcare company that led to a successful sale of this entity.
• Established and implemented the project management plan for the successful launch of a music website that became one of the fastest growing sites.
• Wrote the strategic business and marketing plans for an emerging energy-efficient building software business, resulting in a high company valuation.

Election.com

Conceived and co-founded the startup of Election.com to be the first company to provide comprehensive Internet-based election management services to the private and public sectors. Staff of 110 including ten direct reports.

 

• Built the company from start-up to $35 million revenue in less than three years. Achieved triple-digit growth in each quarter since inception.
• Managed the world’s first legally binding public election on the Internet for the Arizona Presidential primary. Organized the first online international private

  election for the United Nations.
