About Matt Hollibush
Matt Hollibush applies 13 years of high school language arts instruction and 4 years of assistant graduate school teaching to his current position as Assistant Professor with Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, New York. As an instructor in the division of education, Matt Hollibush assists students in understanding teaching methods and curriculum development. Matt Hollibush also serves as a mentor to his students and as a member of numerous committees and organizations, including the Mid-Hudson Reading Council, the National Reading Council, the American Educational Research Association, and the International Reading Association. Earlier in his career, Matt Hollibush instructed English classes at Vallejo High School in Vallejo, California, and graduate education courses at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
In addition to his professional experience, Matt Hollibush also earned a Master of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction from California State University, Sacramento. Following two years at CSU, Sacramento, Matt Hollibush continued his education at the University of Utah, where he was awarded his Ph.D. in Teaching and Learning in 2009.
In his spare time, Matt Hollibush enjoys traveling with his family, reading, and riding his motorcycle. Matt Hollibush currently works and resides in New York.
