Dr. Marsha Goodhead, a practicing OB/GYN in Las Vegas, Nevada, received her Medical Degree from the School of Medicine at Queen’s University, located in Kingston, Ontario. Queen’s University was founded in 1841 and commands international recognition as one of the best institutions of higher education in Canada. Dr. Marsha Goodhead graduated second in her class, received several awards, and subsequently completed her residency in obstetrics at the University of Toronto in Ontario. Dr. Marsha Goodhead earned her board certification in both the United States and Canada. In addition to owning and operating her own private practice, Dr. Marsha Goodhead has affiliated with Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center for 30 years and worked with other area facilities. Along with attending to her many patients, Dr. Goodhead manages and supervises all deliveries, surgeries, and office procedures. Her office specializes in prenatal care, delivery, infertility treatments, and hormone replacement. Dr. Goodhead accepts all patients, regardless of whether or not they can afford her services. She also participates in the Baby Your Baby program at Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center, which treats patients who are on Medicaid, as well as those who have no medical insurance. Baby Your Baby provides free childbirth classes to expectant mothers, and also helps patients find a physician, apply for assistance, and pre-register for their delivery. A member of the American Medical Association, the Nevada State Medical Association, and the Clark County Medical Society, Dr. Goodhead has long served as a member of the Clark County Ob-Gyn Society as well. Dr. Goodhead belongs to the University United Methodist Church, Las Vegas and participates on its mission committee, which administers the church’s local, national, and international missions. Additionally, she was instrumental in the construction of churches in Sonora, Mexico. Dr. Goodhead spends her leisure time exercising, walking her dog, and traveling.
