About Mark R. Lonquist MD
Dr. Mark Lonquist currently serves as President, Medical Director, and Physician of the Estrella Mountain Medical Group. Dr. Mark Lonquist provides family medicine and occupational health services to patients throughout Goodyear, Arizona. As President and Medical Director, Dr. Mark Lonquist takes on vital leadership roles and manages operations for the family practice.
A sports enthusiast, Dr. Mark Lonquist currently assists the Cleveland Indians in their spring training at their new facility in West Valley, Arizona. As a physician for the team, Dr. Mark Lonquist conducts the Cleveland Indians' team physicals and coordinates health care for the players, their families, and the team staff.
Prior to joining Estrella Mountain Medical Group, Dr. Mark Lonquist garnered almost ten years of experience in the United States and Canada. Dr. Mark Lonquist practiced family medicine with Burnaby Hospital, which serves the communities of Burnaby and East Vancouver, and Locum Tenens, which treats patients in Creston, British Columbia. In addition, Dr. Mark Lonquist worked in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Maryvale Hospital Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
Dr. Mark Lonquist attended the University of Victoria in British Columbia for his undergraduate studies. After obtaining his degree, Dr. Mark Lonquist entered medical school at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Mark Lonquist completed his residency with the Canadian College of Family Physicians.
Today, Dr. Mark Lonquist balances his responsibilities with Estrella Mountain Medical Group with his seat on the Credentialing Committee of West Valley Hospital. Previously, Dr. Mark Lonquist served on the Board of Directors of PrimeCare Network and as Chairman of the Department of Medicine at West Valley Hospital.
In his free time, Dr. Mark Lonquist enjoys staying active by playing hockey. Dr. Mark Lonquist's team, Old Boys, plays regular games at Coyotes Polar Ice.
