About Mark Lonquist
Dr. Mark Lonquist
Dr. Mark Lonquist is a practicing physician in Goodyear, Arizona.
Upon completion of his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at the University of Victoria in British Columbia, he undertook his medical training at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Dr. Lonquist completed his Residency at the Canadian College of Family Physicians, and he has served as a Physician at Burnbary Hospital in Emergency Medicine, the Department of Emergency Medicine in Urgent Care, and Banner Health Arizona.
As Chairman of the Department of Medicine and a member of the Medical Executive Committee of West Valley Hospital, Lonquist participates on various committees and additionally serves on the Board for PrimeCare Network. Dr. Lonquist also serves on the Managed Care Committee for PrimeCare Network, Credentialing Committee for West Valley Hospital, Bylaws Committee at Banner Health, and Physicians Advisory Counsel for Banner Estrella Hospital. He is also a Member of the Southwest Valley Network, an organization of business leaders in Goodyear, Arizona. Dr. Mark Lonquist is certified by the American Board of Family Practice and the Canadian College of Family Physicians.
While he has been very active in the medical community for over a decade, Dr. Lonquist is also involved in the development of medical buildings in the communities of Goodyear and Avondale. Recently, he had the pleasure to be a part of a team that completed a merger with 40 physicians to form Integrated Medical Services, a multi-specialty medical group.
Dr. Lonquist knows that an active life is a healthy life, and as such, he participates in many sports, primarily golf and hockey. As a hockey player, his team, Medicine Ice, has won the intramural league two years in a row. Mark also knows that it is important to give back to the community, which is why he is the team doctor for a local Junior A hockey league, work that has been recognized at a recent awards ceremony.
