Mark Anderson has been in the flower business for over twenty years - starting out with a large family shop and then as the creator of the FloristWare POS/CRM system for retail florists.
FloristWare takes a collaborative approach to development and this keeps Mark in close contact with florists from all over North America. This provides valuable insight into best practices that (with the client’s permission) is shared to help other florists be more successful.
Mark Anderson is deeply committed to the floral industry. FloristWare is a member of many associations and organizations and a supporter of many industry events and conventions – frequently sponsoring the most sought after speakers and educators like Tim Huckabee of FloralStrategies and Rick Rivers of Florist Bootcamp.
Mark is also a frequent contributor to Floral Management magazine, writing on technology and pricing strategies for retail florists. He was the first independent technology provider to serve as a member of the SAF Technology Committee.
