About Maresa Rowan
Maresa Rowan - Professional Summary: Maresa Rowan embarked on her career in 1995, joining Moygashel Limited as a Key Account Manager. She worked in the global textile exporter's North America Apparel Division in New York. In this role, Maresa Rowan was challenged with managing daily activities for major American retailers. Maresa Rowan utilized her communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, resulting in the development of products that satisfied customers' needs.
After spending close to five years with Moygashel Limited, Maresa Rowan returned to Ireland in 2000 to join the marketing staff of Trulife Group Ltd., located in Dublin. Named International Marketing Manager for the Pressure Care Division after only eight months with the company, Maresa Rowan assumed responsibility for the management of three brands of medical devices. Her challenge was to drive business in 60 international markets, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. Her position at Trulife Group allowed her to hone her marketing and sales skills and develop experience in product innovation.
In 2006, Maresa Rowan joined the Dublin division of Abbott Laboratories, a Chicago-headquartered company specializing in global healthcare products and pharmaceuticals. Since that time, she has progressed through Abbott’s ranks, advancing from her original position as Product Manager in the Pharmaceutical Division to her current position as Customer Excellence Manager, also in Dublin. Considered a leader whose innovative ideas have resulted in corporate successes on both the local and the international level over the last five years, Maresa Rowan was recognized in 2009 as Abbott Laboratories’ Employee of the Year.
