I am a dynamic, creative and motivated person who likes to work hard and aims to reach high goals. Being an autonomous, self-motivated person and a team player, I am honest and efficient. Manuel Trindade - Professional Experience:
- Facilities Manager at Fujitsu in Lisbon, from 19 October 2009 to 30 April 2011. Responsible for project managing logistics, security, health and safety and supplier relationships for an estate of offices and warehouses in six locations throughout Portugal. Brought together all facilities in Portugal for the first time under the same central management responsibility, negociated and implemented 15% cost reductions for utility bills and new/existing vendor contracts as well as a new recycling system. Managed the outsourcing of the position upon departure.
First started as responsible for the logistics, moves, security, reception, cleaning, parking, evacuation plan and relationship with the landlord for four floors in the Torre Oriente of the Centro Comercial Colombo and for a 2300 m² warehouse in Camarate.
- Team Manager at Fujitsu Services, since 01/09/2008 until 18/10/2009. Responsible for a team of Customer Support Technicians, Product Support Engineers and Service Controllers, in a Fujitsu Global Delivery Centre in Lisbon, managing Service Desks for several clients. Successfully managed the ramp-up of the Legrand account, to include more countries (ES, IT, UK, TR) and support services.
- Consultant at Phare Ponleu Selpak, from 02/12/2007 until 15/05/2008. Responsible for the promotion, production and logistics of an international circus festival, with 9 companies from 8 countries in 4 continents (Australia, Cambodia, France, Germany, Guinea-Conakry, Japan, Thailand and Vietnam). The festival took place from the 3rd until the 6th April 2008 in Battambang. There was also an opening parade and show on the 29th March in Phnom Penh, the Kingdom of Cambodia.
- Account Director at Aldelia Limited, a start-up recruitment company in Westminster, London, from 13/08/2007 until 01/10/2007. Responsible for new business development, managing existing clients and recruiting (mostly headhunting) for several Major Oil&Gas companies and service companies in 4 continents.
- Senior Recruitment Specialist at Hewitt Associates, the worldwide market leader in HRO services, from 2007/03/12 until 2007/06/18. Hewitt recruited for Sun Microsystems in the whole EMEA region. Responsible for recruitment in France, Italy and Portugal. Supporting a team of 12 recruitment specialists. Reporting and procedure implementation. Sun brought staffing back in-house.
- Journalist at the International and Society sections of Radio Clube Português, from 2006/11/01 until 2007/01/31. Project of changing from a music radio to news broadcast network. Broadcasts in new format started in January 2007.
- Recruitment Officer at Total E&P Angola, sub-contracted by Amec/Spie Oil & Gas Services (French branch), from 2002/09/15 until 2005/02/28. Main responsibilities: Selection, hire and follow up during their first year of technicians and engineers for the Angolan branch of this multinational oil company. Responsible for administrating and correcting psychometric tests and for the conception and implementation of a media plan, in Angola, Brazil, Portugal, South Africa, the USA and African job portals. Yearly adaptations to the Recruitment plan. Hired over 170 people during a two-year period for the Total branch with the highest worldwide growth-rate at the time, retaining high-calibre individuals.
- PKI Manager (Process, Knowledge and Information Manager) at Sykes France SA, from 2000/11/27 until 2002/07/06. Main Responsibilities: Implementation of COPC 2000 quality standard and Blue Pumpkin staffing and scheduling tool; Coordinate training activities throughout a Contact Centre with 250 Employees; Coach and develop a team of 4 Trainers and Quality Monitors; Organize processes and procedures for the Contact Centre.
- Account Manager at Sykes Enterprises B.V, from 2000/04/01 until 2000/11/26. Main Responsibilities: Manage three accounts with a total of 35 FTE’s (Full Time Employees); Accountable for P&L (Profit and Loss), recruitment, coaching and client contacts; Managed to achieve a profitable operation with a controlled turnover rate. Worked with an e-commerce account (Be-Free), a Thin Client and Sofware manufacturer (NCD, Network Computing Devices) and a Hardware manufacturer (Primax-Visioneer).
- Supervisor at Sykes Enterprises B.V, from 1999/09/01 until 2000/03/31. Main Responsibilities: Manage two accounts with a total of 15 FTE’s; Accountable for daily reporting to the client, staff coaching and development, recruitment; Kept sickness and turnover rates at low levels. Worked with the Be-Free and NCD accounts.
