With a strong interest in auto racing, Maktoum Hasher Juma Al Maktoum is the founder of the A1 Grand Prix. Founded in 2004, the A1 Grand Prix operates unlike any other Formula One racing event, pitting nations against one another, rather than individual teams. Since its inception, numerous countries across the globe have participated in the event, including the United States, Great Britain, France, Italy, and Switzerland.
