About Maktoum Hasher Al Maktoum
Maktoum Hasher Al Maktoum currently serves as President of real estate development group Al Fajer Properties and as Chairman of United Arab Emirates' iconic football team Al-Nasr Sports Club, balancing two executive positions simultaneously and demonstrating his superior work ethic. His accomplishments have earned Maktoum Hasher Al Maktoum several accolades, including the 2008 Young CEO of the Year award.
Before establishing himself as an internationally successful entrepreneur, Maktoum Hasher Al Maktoum earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston's Suffolk University, graduating with honors in 1999. He combined his education with a passion for sports and founded auto racing franchise A1 Grand Prix. His unique regulations for the series stipulate mechanical equality between cars. A1 Grand Prix, known globally as the “World Cup of Motorsport,” also designates teams based on nationality, requiring drivers to compete for their home countries instead of a team.
Maktoum Hasher Al Maktoum continues to utilize his experience in sports entertainment as Chairman of Al-Nasr Sports Club. Since he joined the Al Fajer Properties, the company's most substantial project has shown rapid progress. Many of the skyscrapers constructed in the Jumeirah Lake Towers building were completed ahead of schedule. Europe's foremost venture capitalist company, Kulczyk Investment House, entered into a partnership with Al Fajer Properties soon after Maktoum Hasher Al Maktoum took leadership.
