About Lynda Colley
By outsourcing your administration tasks, you can reduce your annual overheads, increase the time left to work on building your own business and improve the carbon footprint of your business, as there is no need for travel to the place of work.
You need someone with:
- their own office, and to provide the equipment, computer etc.
- with a wealth of knowledge and a wide work experience.
- the skills and capability to adapt to most situations as they occur.
- able to work using their initiative and prioritise the workload accordingly.
- an associate arrangement to cover work excesses, or annual leave/sick time (if/ when required).
The list of skills I can provide is not exhaustive. I enjoy having multiple tasks on the go at any one time.
I am proficient in both Microsoft Excel and Word with RSA CLAIT I & II.
I also have a good working knowledge of Xero, Capsule, Minute-Dock and Power point, as well as QuickBooks, Act, Equinox, Opus, Access and a reasonable experience of Visio.
I have been running my own business for nearly a year and I have worked in Administration for many years, my last employed position was as an Office Manager/ PA.
I am determined, tenacious and loyal. I like variety, being busy, and working under a bit of pressure so naturally after being made redundant, I decided that my abilities could be put to better use if I helped more businesses; this could be achieved if I worked 'Virtually' and was self-employed.
I am an Associate member of the Association for Personal Assistants, and a member of The Virtual Assistant Support Group (VASG).
I have qualified for Grade 4 ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) and I have just completed my first year studying for an on-line degree in Business Management.
I am supported by my husband of 28 years and my family.
I enjoy my 2 year old Labradoodle puppy, Genealogy - My family tree, gardening, my garden, reading, cooking, fish/pond-keeping, wine appreciation, sugar paste flower making, cross stitch, crochet, water-colour painting.
