Ludovic Lacay is a professional poker player from Haute-Normandie France. Predominantly an online player, Lacay is often found at online poker sites such as FullTiltPoker, PartyPoker, PokerRoom, PokerStars, UltimateBet, with varying screen names on each.
Lacay has won approximately $15,000 for his online exploits, the biggest of which came at a FullTiltPoker event, where he came away with $8,000. The Frenchman also pocketed a cool $4,655 when he finished 92nd in a $1050 buy-in No Limit Hold'em event on PokerStars.
Ludovic Lacay has also put up a couple of impressive performances in live tournaments on the European poker circuit. In October 2007, the 23-year-old notched up his best tournament performance to date at the World Poker Tour’s Spanish Championship in Barcelona, Spain. Participating in the €7,500 No Limit Hold'em Championship Event, the Frenchman made the final table, eventually finishing runner-up to Markus Lehmann of Germany. Ludovic Lacay’s 2nd place performance earned him an impressive $414,747, his biggest tournament earning yet.
The same month, Ludovic Lacay travelled to Ireland for a European Poker Tour tourney in Dublin. Participating in the €7,700 No Limit Hold'em event, Lacay narrowly missed the final table and was forced to settle for 11th place and $34,329 in earnings, taking his career earnings to close to half a million dollars.
