About Honig Vineyard and Winery: Louis (Bill) Honig III and his two sisters inherited nearly 70 acres of vineyard property in Rutherford, California, in 1976, after their father, Louis Honig Jr., passed away. Louis Honig Jr. was the founder of Honig Cooper, an advertising agency based in San Francisco that resembled the popular television series “Mad Men.” In honor of their father’s legacy, Bill and his sisters, along with other family members, created Honig Vineyard and Winery, which has become a nationally recognized and award-winning brand. The winery receives recognition as a leader in sustainable, eco-friendly winemaking. Louis (Bill) currently serves as a Managing Partner along with his son, Michael Honig, who is also President of the winery, and family members Sue Weinstein and Daniel Weinstein.
