Lord Edward Davenport (born July 11, 1966) is most known for his real estate ventures, expensive undertakings, charity work (both in raising money and awareness), and lavish lifestyle. Lord Davenport's vast wealth is not from an inheritance but from his own merits. He has managed to enjoy a busy social and extra-curricular life while remaining committed to his various businesses.

 

Early Start, Additional Businesses, & Charities

 

When he was 15 year old, Lord Davenport was already profiting from selling fashionable clothes from a market booth while being a full time student.

 

At 16 he professionally started organizing parties, which lead to him co-founding Gatecrashers Ltd., a party-planning company for teenagers. He made his first million in his early twenties, becoming a familiar face on the British media circuit.

 

Beyond his real estate and other business ventures, Lord Davenport owns and runs some of London's most popular and financially successful nightclubs.

 

His charity work is vast. He has donated large sums of his own money to various charities, specializing in medical advancement, namely in kidney research (including to the South West Thames Kidney Fund at The House of Lords). In addition, Lord Davenport has been pivotal in raising money for auctions and film premieres to raise contributions for various groups.

Lord Davenport has numerous international residences, including 25 buildings in the West End, worth approximately £100m. He mainly resides in Monaco and London. His main flat in London has: 24 bedrooms, eight reception rooms, a billiard room, a ballroom, a drawing room, and a specially built Jacuzzi. This vast collection of beautiful homes and sports cars leaves him the envy of many.

 

Although still a bachelor, his social calendar is always busy and lively, hosting parties for celebrities and a multitude of friends and associates.
