System Engineer and Product Management at Bigband Networks
Matrix team leader, designing and defining requirements for media services platforms, successfully marketed to the Cable and Telco, RFTV and IPTV industries. Writing system requirements for hardware, embedded and real-time software, RF and UI. Defining interfaces and protocols within the platform and with external products.
Integrating Targeted Advertising, VOD, Time-shift TV and similar applications into new and existing products. Initiating end to end solutions which improved the Cable TV operators’ yield from targeted advertising per user.
Led customers from idea conception to project completion, bugs resolving and implementing new versions. I’ve worked mostly with Verizon Communications and Comcast – building strategy, features roadmap, product requirements.
Bigband’s representative in ‘Next Generation Access Network’ (NGAA) project workgroups led by Comcast with participants from all the big communication companies (Juniper, Cisco, Motorola, etc). Active participant in Face-to-Face meetings and writing the technical specs.
Responsibility for face-lifting the company’s NMS and EMS products, presenting new UI and concepts to help the Cable operators with control-and-management of the devices. Build user- centric use-cases, design GUI prototype, initiate demo for ratifying with the customers.
